New Launches: Avon & Oriflame!

Hii friends..
Today I am going to share snapshots of latest products by AVON & ORIFLAME. Every month I wait for the catalogs of these two brands as they are not available easily at counters or shops.. You need to find out representatives of Avon and Oriflame near your house to source the products... that is the main drawback for these products.. but now Nykaa stocks products from Oriflame. Anyhow coming back to the point of this post.. I am going to share some of their new launches and also some products that I might be laying my hands on this month!! (warning: pic heavy post)

Okk... so after lakme and a few other companies avon has also launched its cc cream.. excited for it??
Well these are not really new launches, but have been in the market for the longest time ever! But the reason why I have added them to thi post is because I might be getting a few of these because of the amazing discount :D :P

AVON SIMPLY PRETTY LIPSTICKS AND LIP BALM: will be reviewing these soon on my blog coz I have collected 2 of these from both the range... so stay tuned for that!!
Oriflame GlossI am in love with the packaging of these glosses!!! Might be ordering at least 2 shades from this range.

Maybelline Baby Lips Brights Collection!

Hi Friends..
Few months back Maybelline India launched some new variants for the Baby Lips called the Bright Collection, and I am a lip balm hoarder so these had to be added to my collection.. So I have this habit of buying at least one lip balm everytime  most of the time when I visit the mall. As these are limited edition I had to get them as soon as I could :P
So now when I own all the three from their brights collection, I thought its the best time to review about them..

These are available in 3 shades: Neon Rose, Tangerine Pop, Pink Peony
Price: Rs. 150/- for 4.5gms
Shelf Life: 36 months from Mfg.

What Maybelline has to say:
Introducing Maybelline Baby Lips New Bright Collection.

Pamper your lips with bright colors and continuous moisture. The next generation of lip balm is born, from Maybelline New York. Adult strength care for baby soft lips in vibrant translucent colors. 6 hours continuous moisture formula with vitamin E and jojoba oil helps to shed away rough dryness for supple smooth lips all day.

My Experience:
I love lip balms that come in this twist up tube packaging, these lip balms smell soo awesome like you literally have some perfume on which is not too overpowering but fades away after sometime. Some of the shades have minute shimmer particles which makes it look almost like a gloss on the skin.
- Neon Rose:
This shade is the brightest of them all, gives a fuchsia pink tint to the lips and that brightens up the whole face. A few swipes is enough to build up the color.

-Tangerine Pop
This shade gives a slight red color to the lips and has minute shimmer particles which gives a glow to the lips almost feels like you have lip gloss on but moisturizes the lips like lip balm. This is my go to lip balm for everyday use as it feels almost like the natural color of my lips

-Pink Peony
According to me this shade is the least pigmented and just moisturizes the lips, but if glided for a few times the color builds up on the lips and looks like a salmon pink color, which is great when you need a sheer color on those girl's day out shopping with your besties!

Pros of Maybelline Baby Lips Brights Collection
  • Brighter lip tint
  • Keeps lips hydrated for 4 hours
  • Smells great
  • Makes lips soft and supple
  • Contains spf  16
  • Hygienic & cute packaging
  • Affordable
Summing up, this is a good pick if you love bright lip colors that hydrates and protects your lips.

Maybelline Colossal Kohl: Turquoise Review & Swatches!

Hii all you beauties!
I am back with another product review! Today its about the new Maybelline Colossal Turquoise Kohl... To be honest this is my first colored pencil that I have been loving as it has a beautiful blue-green color which is so in this summer! I mean its a great product to tr out this season to bring that pop color to your eyes!

Packaging: Its exactly like the original Colossal kajal... the retractable pen form.
Price: Rs. 249/-
Availability: Easily available at all Maybelline counters.
My experience:
A bright color which has bits of shimmer in it but not to the quantity that would make you look like a clown... I would be wearing it often this summer as I am really addicted to it! It now goes everywhere with me in my makeup bag! ;)
PROS:
  • Soft and creamy, glides on very smoothly on the lashline.
  • Stays on for about 4-5 hours... that too in the summer season! which is awesomeee :)
  • Affordable yet very classy looking
  • Amazing color to add that quirky fun to your eyes
  • Can be used as a kajal as well as an eyeliner!

Maybelline Cheeky Glow - Peachy Sweetie

Hii friends..
I am back again with another product review and this one again being from our one and only Maybelline that continues to surprise with amazing products at super affordable price range!

Today its going to be the Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush! *Peachy Sweetie*
Though I am quite late in reviewing about this but never the less I am here..

Product Description:
For cheeks that glow with a natural finish:

  • Ultra light weight, silky, blendable powders.
  • It blends flawlessly for the natural finish.
  • Comes in 3 fresh colors: Creamy Cinnamon, Fresh Coral and Peachy Sweetie.
  • Priced at Rs. 250/- for 7gms

My Experience:
Firstly I am not too much of a makeup person, and this is probably the first blush that I have ever bought in my entire life. The reason why I decided to buy this blush was for its packaging, price and also the great reviews that I was hearing about it everywhere.

So heres the story behind the purchase of this blush: As I was looking for the best place to buy it, online, Maybelline counters, or my local market.. I ended up going to Shoppers Stop and I must admit the SA there was too sweet, coz when I asked him about the offers going on he handed me the super cute mny blush brush which were no where to be found online or any other counter and not only that.. he also gave me the Maybelline heart coin purse which was was eyeing on for the longest time ever!

Now coming to the experience.. I am quite impressed with the quality of this blush as this one being my first one ever I was scared coz I didnt want to look like a clown with bright pink cheeks but oh my my! This blush actually gives very natural pink glow to the cheeks and feels soo light weight as if you've put nothing on.
The shade Peachy Sweetie does contain some amount of minute shimmer particles but I think that just brightens up the face and helps in giving the right amount of glow.
This is the best blush for beginners and its so light on the skin and well as on the pocket, so apt for college going girls.

PROS:
1. Soft and satin textures; which blends like a dream
2. Great for beginners who want to try out new products and experiment with colors.
3. Super affordable
4. Cute Packaging.

CONS:
1. Average Staying power.

Overall Report!
I would give this blush 5/5 for its smooth and creamy texture which blends so amazingly.. Also it is pocket friendly, I am eyeing on the creamy cinnamon shade now, and will be getting that one soon too!
Loved photographing this beauty coz  its soo pretty!

Avon Kids Lip Balms

Hii friends..
Today I was in a mood to write a post but didnt knew what product to write about so I thought of writing about something that I love hoarding *LIP BALMS*, yes like most of the girls I love buying lip balms in different flavors, packaging, fragrances, etc.
So just about a few weeks ago while I was going through the online catalog of AVON INDIA, I saw these ultra cute kids lip balms in the flavors swirling strawberry and magnificent mango. I couldn't wait to try these.. so I called u an Avon representative near my house and ordered for these little babies.

Product Claims: Moisturize and hydrate your lips. The mild and gentle lip balm contains strawberry extracts, Vitamin E, a blend of coconut and almond oils, and shea and cocoa butter. Recommended for kids aged 3 and up.

My Experience:
I am in love with these lip balms; firstly because of their packaging which makes it so hygienic to use unlike the other tub form of lip balms in the market.. secondly, because of the fragrance which is fruity; strawberry and mango both are my favorite fruits and having them on my lips 24x7 is like a dream come true ;) :))
thirdly, these are non tinted lip balms which are good for the times when you need to moisturize your lips without adding color.
They smell soo yummy and feel like butter on lips.. not like literally that greasy feeling of butter.. but in a good way. U KNOW WHAT I MEAN?! :P :D
Another good point point about these lip balms is that they taste really sweet.. It actually feels like u have something sweet on your lips.. though they tend shine tends to fade after sometime but your lips actually stay moisturized.
I love carrying at least one of them in my purse at all times.. I am addicted to these!!!

Will I repurchase? Hell to the YESSSSS! I love these lip balms!

Price: These are priced at Rs. 129/- in the catalog but as AVON has offers going on most of the time.. I got these cuties for Rs. 99/- each!

Another lot cuties that I am eyeing on from Avon are there newly launched 2-in-1 Lip Balms.. Wanna have a glimpse?

Don't they look just awesome.. I might be getting all the 3 shades in these!
OH MY CRAZZZYYYY ADDICTION TO LIPBALMS!
