Fly High.. and reach the sky!

 Hii Friends...
How are you all..? Well with the increasing temperature here... I am not completely enjoying my vacations... its just crafting that keeps me busy.. I have also acquired an old lost interest of cooking.. and let me tell you I have have been creating all kinds of amazing dishes.. with just a little problem of spices here and there :P
Anyways coming back to crafts... It had been a long time that I created any card, so voila... here is one that was just so simple... I just completed it in hardly 5-7 minutes!
I created this card for someone who is an awesome person.. and loves to do social service, has big dreams.. I hope all her dreams come true... so this one is for you babes...!

So here are a few pictures of the card:

Following is a close up pic of the main detailed area of the card...

...used twine for the first time... hope it looks like...
this echo park park is in itself so gorgeous that it does not need any embellishments, but as its my habit of adding some blings here and there... I added some pink sequins of different shades.. and the sentiment on the card is handwritten!

Supplies:
Paper: pp~ echo park, be mine
Embellishment: Twine, rhinestones all from my stash

Please don't forget to leave your comments for this beauty! ;)

My New Love.. Nail Arts!

Heyyy friends.....
Thanks a lott for those lovely comments on my mini b'day diary! really happy that you all liked it!... :D

Due to my vacations, I have plenty of time with me.. so I try out my hands of different types of creative work... these days I have a new budding interest of... nail arts!
Today I am going to share a D.I.Y nail art with you... the basic inspiration behind this is from https://www.facebook.com/pages/Giasaysthat/188951224454273 of http://www.giasaysthat.com/ . She is my inspiration for all the fashion stuff...and the to reach person for any suggestion and advises on cosmetics, fashion,etc... She resides in Mumbai.. and shares some awesome D.I.Y (Do it yourself) tips to create some awesome stuff... So please drop by at her blog...!

So Let me show you how to create some awesome nail arts right at your home...!

Items you would be needing...
1) Nail paints (your own favourite colors)
2) Scotch Tape... this is the product that would help in creating wonders...
3) Top coat... to seal the nail paint for it to stay longer
4) Nail polish remover pads... to remove off the excess nail paint from your nails

Yes.. that's it!

Steps :
First of all apply the base color.. I used Golden nail paint for the base... let it dry for some time...

Second step... stick the scotch tape diagonally on your nail covering half of the golden nail paint... I hope you can see the tape in the picture..

Then apply the second color preferably dark, so that it gives a good contrast between nails... so sorry I forgot to take the picture of this step...

Then let the second nail paint dry for some time... and remove the tape once the second nail paint is set...

Finally apply the top coat of transparent nail paint.. this would protect your nails from chipping and make your nail art last longer...

Its not one of the best that I could do.. but what to do was working with my right hand on my left...( yes I am a southpaw)!
Suggestion.. you can create all sorts of designs using this trick... even do french manicure sitting at home..

Hope you like this D.I.Y as much as I liked it... pictures don't do full justice to how pretty they look in real coz I had to click all these pictures with one hand...

Please do share your ideas about this...

Birthday reminder diary!

Heyyy folks!
Its been a long time since I posted something here... well my vacations have begun... So I craft all day long...and of course I am not mad enough to go out in such a weather!
Waiting for monsoon to arrive :D
Today I am going to share a mini birthday diary that I created... because I tend to forget b'days of important people in my life.. therefore to keep a diary with me..hoarding all important dates is mandatory :P

This is again a picture heavy post.... So enjoy!
This diary is a mini keeping in mind that I could carry it with me wherever I go its exactly 5X3 inch in size... and has a pocket for every month, so that I can slide tags, in which I could store important stuff!

This is the cover page of the diary...

I am not listing down the products individually this time.. please ask me if you need any details :)
I have kept some of the pages very simple and just added tags with months so that I can write down anything memorial that happened in the following month..

I have created the month of marck in pink.. as its my favorite color and my b'day falls in march... :D

This diary can been made keeping in mind the colors that would co-ordinate with every month.... hence it is very colorful, showing different colors of the year...

I really like this page a lot... used pie lane glitter balls to decorate... I tell you they are just a treat to look at! I really thank karuna di because of whom I could get my hands on them!

I made tags which slip into the pockets that I made on each page, on these tags I would write down birthdays, and every important date in my life... which I should remember..

So this was another creation by me... took a lot of my time, but doesn't really matter, as I am completely free these days.. and I am thankful that at least there is something which keeps my mind occupied :P
Sometimes I think BBA is so easy..don't know why people create a fuzz out of it :P

 Supplies used:
Papers: Basic grey, echo park, and some are sooo old that I don't even remember their names..
Embellishments: Stickers from all over the place; some are locally bought, some are from basic grey, bella blvd.,  some of the tags used are from simple stories happy days paper pack... I love this company... awesome styles! buttons, rhinestones and ribbons used are from my stash.

I really liked this mini diary... loved the way it has turned out; so bright and colorful!
So I guess this is it from my side, would be back with more stuff... but I am sure I won't create another mini album.. for a long time now! tired of soooo much co-ordination !
Please leave your valuable comments.... I really wait for them :)

Its my life ~ mini album!

Hiii....
Today I am really very happy and excited to share my very first mini album...
Its a picture heavy post, so sit back and enjoy as I list down all the supplies used on every page of the mini.... hope you all will like it...
This is the cover page of my mini album...
Used echo park paper and coordinating sticker sheet and a few stickers bought from a local store... small bits of ribbons used for the album binding rings..

This is the very first inside view of the album, with a picture of me,mom and dad on one side and a picture of our family clicked on my 13th birthday...

Used martha stewart around the page punch, and basic grey papers on this page.. and coordinated them with prima flowers, and butterflies from pielane...

On this page I used papers from my stash and decorated the picture with some punch craft and stickers from my stash...

This is the 3rd page of the album, used EK punch on cardstock and created around the page effect with it... used some prima flowers again coordinating them with the picture and the background colors...

For the following page, I again used some echo park papers, rhinestones and flowers.. also I used my favourite MS Punch..!

These are the last two pages of my mini album...

This is my favourite page of the album, and the sticker used goes so well with the main idea of the page..
really love the sticker~its by saumya mohanty... and other than that I used some flowers from prima.

This is the last page of the mini album, it features me and my brother~our first day to school!
I used basic grey papers for the background.. and layered the picture on a handmade paper...

Supplies:
Papers: EchoPark, Basic Grey: bought from Ujjwaldi, papermania~confetti
Punches: MS~Pansy around the page, daisy margarita punch, EK~flourish border punch, parsian slim border punch
Embellishments: Flowers-prima, Sticker-flower stickers by Saumya from Scrap Your Idea and also Butterfliy and blossom from Karunadi of Lulupu - The Craft LoungePie Lane glitterballs, Rhinestones and ribbons from my own stash :D

So this is it~ my very first try at a mini album... that a really tough time, coordinating things which could go with the pictures... In the beginning I started feeling very irritated about why I started making the album.. but towards the end~ I loved all the combination work so much that I have decided to make another one.. but not very soon...

My next project~ Well, not thought about it yet... as I will be on a week long break! Will come back with full enthusiasm to create even more beautiful project....
But please don't forget to leave your valuable comments about this mini album...
Thanks! :)
